Bugatti Toy Type 35 Reborn at the 110th Anniversary – Celebrating its 110th birthday, Bugatti produced a special edition, the mini version of Bugatti Type 35, dubbed Baby 2. Type 35 itself is an iconic race car owned by Bugatti won various races in the 1920s.
Reported by Carbuzz, at first, Bugatti founder Ettore Bugatti and his son, Jean Bugatti, made a Type 35 replica on a 50 percent scale. The replica was made to be the 4th birthday gift of Ettore’s son and Jean’s sister, Roland. However, Bugatti eventually produced 500 units of the Baby car nicknamed between 1927 and 1936.
At present, the Bugatti Baby 2 has a larger size than its predecessor with a scale of 75 percent. Using an electric motor, there are two types of modes that are tailored to the user.
For child mode with a power of 1 kW and a top speed of 20 km / hour while adult mode with power of 4 kW and a top speed of 45 km / hour.
Blue and black will be the standard color of this car, but Bugatti said that there are other possible options available for exterior and interior.
The Baby 2 look is very classic, but differences are found in instruments which in the previous series showed that oil pressure is now replaced by battery levels, indicators and power meters.
To own this car, potential buyers have to spend $ 33,000 or around Rp. 460 million. Unfortunately, 500 of the total 500 units produced have already been sold out. However, Bugatti said that interested consumers could still wait for buyers to cancel or plans to increase production quotas.
