Chinese Cars Get Seven Year Warranty Japanese Cars Are Not Afraid
Chinese Cars Get Seven Year Warranty Japanese Cars Are Not Afraid – The famous Daihatsu passenger car line with a friendly price. But, after the Chinese brand is present in Indonesia, the price of the car with the D logo is not the cheapest.
Like the Low Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) class, Terios prices start from USD 14,450 to USD 18,350. Whereas, the price of the Toyota Rush starts from USD 17,447 to USD 18,975, and the Honda BR-V sells from USD 1,700 to USD 1,957.
After the Chinese brand, DFSK released Glory 560, the price of Japanese SUV Low brands became more expensive. Because, the price tag of Glory 560 is only USD 1,350 to USD 1,707.
In fact, the features offered by DFSK are far more complete. Like a 1,500cc engine equipped with a turbo with CVT (continuously variable transmission) automatic transmission. In addition, a number of passive security features are also embedded.
In response, Marketing Director of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor, Amelia Tjandra spoke up. She said, each brand has a different strategy. It’s natural, if new entrants like DFSK sell cars at low prices.
“The price strategy is reasonable if he gives cheap, because newcomers need it. There is nothing wrong, right and good. If I become him, it must be. If not, how can you get market share and sales,” She said in Jakarta, Friday 3 May 2019.
When mentioned about the seven-year guarantee offered by DFSK, Amel said that it was only a certain component, and Daihatsu had studied it.
“The gimmick is sold. Basically, the components in us are not damaged – very damaged (after seven years),” she said.
“Everyone has a strategy to sell, and that (a seven-year guarantee) is sold. The components are also limited. Our car also hasn’t been damaged for 10 years,” she said.
