Suzuki GSX-RR Specifications Give Alex Rins Victory – Suzuki Ecstar racer Alex Rins appeared surprisingly in the American race series. Rins who started the race from seventh place managed to finish the race by winning the race at the Circuit of The Americas, Austin.
Rins himself began confident with the Suzuki GSX-RR mounts since the inaugural MotoGP race in Qatar began. At that time the Rins finished in fourth place right in front of Valentino Rossi.
“Thank you Suzuki for working well. Before the racing season started I was sure that I could win the race. We have a strong motorbike. In Qatar we are very close, unfortunately in Argentina we have to start the race from behind,” Rins was quoted as saying by Motorsport on Monday ( 4/15/2019).
On paper, the GSX-RR is equipped with a 1,000 cc liquid cooled engine, 4 cylinder inline, DOHC 4 valve. Maximum power reaches 176 kw (240 Ps), and top speed is 340 km / hr.
In terms of dimensions 2,096 mm long, 1,140 mm high, and 720 mm wide, with twin spar frames made of aluminum, a total weight of 157 kg.
Rins’s victory was welcomed by Suzuki boss Davide Brivio. This is a moment that has been awaited by Suzuki in the MotoGP event.
“We are champions in this season. If you are honest, Marquez’s accident helped a little. I am happy because he had to fight Rossi and show maturity when racing,” said Brivio.
