Toyota Launches Latest Toyota Granvia Products in 2019 – After having a smaller version, Toyota HiAce now has a luxury version. This luxury version of the Toyota HiAce was released at the Shanghai Auto Show, shortly after the Lexus Alphard was released.
Launching Carscoops, this product is named Toyota Granvia. Even though Granvia is more luxurious, it still uses the same platform as HiAce.
This luxury MPV has an 8-passenger capacity that will be sold for the Australian market in the fourth quarter of 2019. The presence of Toyota Granvia is to provide choices for the upper class, companies, and family consumers.
In accordance with its class, Granvia is equipped with premium seats for the eight seats, a Toyota Safety Sense package, and a four-link coil-sprunk for its rear suspension that provides comfort and stability handling.
This new Minivan will only be offered in one engine option, the turbo diesel. Toyota said that the new engine pinned for Granvia will provide better fuel efficiency. It’s just not explained in more detail about the Granvia machine.
Meanwhile, Toyota Granvia has two variants that will be marketed. Overall, the Granvia feature consists of a sliding door, electric driver seat arrangement, captain’s seat in the second row, and the latest multimedia complete with 4 USB ports and a total of 12 speakers.
Regarding safety features, Granvia is equipped with 9 airbags, active cruise control, and a pre-collision safety system (PCS) with a pedestrian detector and daytime cyclist detection.
“Granvia can be the answer to the needs of five-star hotel shuttle cars, or company transportation for senior executives, or just for family luxury cars,” said Toyota Australia’s Sales and Marketing Vice President, Sean Hanley. In Australia, Granvia will be the replacement for Tarago who was injected dead at the end of 2019.
